| Audio Temple is a service that provides a artists with a webpage and a way of selling their albums as a physical CD (or download) | ||
| How does it work? | ||
| The artist supplies a CD of songs in any format and any album cover artwork. All cds are then manufactured and distributed by Audio Temple. All the payments are handled on this site too and the artists gets paid monthly. | ||
| What file formats do i need to send? | ||
| The best format are large wav files usually about 50MB for a 4 minute song. If you have mp3 files then that is ok but the try and send the hgighest bit rate version you have. 320 kbps is best. Basically put the best version of each song you want on your album on a CD as a data file and send it to Audio Temple and we will turn it into CD audio. Name the songs track no - track name. e.g. 01 - Get Me Out Of Here.wav | ||
| What about the CD artwork? | ||
| If you have a good picture for your CD then put it on the CD witht the music tracks when you send it in. Please use the best quality version of the picture you have. we can resize for the website but use the best version for the printing on the front cover. Please make the picture square i.e. height is the same as the width. If you don't have a picture then you can have a plain background and we can have the artist name and album title on the front. For the back cover it is a basic track listing of what is on the cd. If you have anything specific you want on the back then put that in a text file and put it on the cd that is being sent in. | Yes there is a miling list every month with details of what is going on with the Audio Temple site and artist news.
