On 22nd August 2008 I was a guest on Lizzie B's Local Talent show and played a few songs live in the studio and had an interview.

Bank Holiday Monday. Acoustic Set at the Beer Festival. I start at 1.55pm. Lots of great local acts are playing.

12/07/2008 Step Back Album Is finished
I have just finished re-working the songs on my Step Back album. I decided to re-visit the album I did last year.
All of the songs have new drum tracks courtesey of Pat Bautz.
I have totally changed I Don't Want To Die, My Island In The Sun, Hang On To This Feeling. My brother Alex has added some tasty keyboards and backing vocals.
There is a brand new song called The Road To You.

01/04/2008 New song - Collaboration with Ella Hayes and Alex Southgate
Ella Hayes Ella has just recorded a song I wrote called Still Searching.
My brother Alex Southgate was the producer and he wrote some of the lyrics too. I think they have done a great job.
Alex and Ella also recorded a couple of Alex's songs - All I Want and Time to Wake Up.

25/02/2008 Objection CD 2008 now available
OBJECTION 2008 is a CD compilation of Essex-based music, and all profits
go to UNICEF. It features 15 tracks from a variety of genres and
talented local artists. 200 copies have been professionally produced,
available in independent music shops, at local gigs and now online. The
CD is just £6 and all profits will go to UNICEF (registered charity no.
1072612). When these sell, another 200 will be made, and so on, throughout the
year, until Objection 2009. Do the right thing! Help charity and local
bands at the same time.

05/02/2008 Get Me Out Of Here Album nearly finished
I have been reworking all the songs on my Get Me Out Of Here album. All the mixing is now done. I'll be getting it mastered next week.
It has been a long, painful but rewarding experience geting the songs into the best state they can be. It should be finished end of feb.

I met up with Rich Lyman from Aphid Eye Productions to do a video shoot for my song Get Me Out Of Here
It was a fun but cold day filming around the Chelmsford area. The video can be seen here
